Embroidery Storage Baskets
In our kitchen, the cupboard where our pots reside is the most precarious. It seems there is no way to avoid the inevitable clamor of mismatched lids falling from the shelves. If you're like me with limited kitchen space, you have no choice but to stack your pots and pans. Then the question remains: what to do with the lids? I stumbled across this simple yet oh so genius idea on Martha Stewart and can't wait to reorganize! Get some towel racks with a depth of at least 2 inches, depending on the lids you're working with. I'm planning on using these Grundtal Rails ($7) from Ikea, but there are plenty of options out there (think bold colors, wrought iron).
This is so ingenious and it eliminates the hazard that a book case poses such as being pulled down/over onto a little one if not secured to the wall. It looks like pinch points exist where the rods sit on the metal holders. Little fingers might be at-risk for an injury. If anyone has used this at home with little ones, I would like to hear your feedback.
