Elephant at the beach :)
The man in the picture raised the lion from a cub until she was too big for him to take care of. He took her to a reserve in Africa and when he came back years later to visit her he didn't know if she would recognize him. She slowly approached him, jumped up and gave him a hug. Proof that animals love too! :'(
bear hugs are all right, but lion hugs are better
The Lions Mane Jellyfish is the largest jellyfish in the world. The largest can come in at about 6 meters and has tentacles over 50 meters long. I. Am. Terrified.
The saying 'you are what you eat' is true for these insects as stunning pictures show their abdomens changing colour as they sip on sugar drops. :O

Aardvark: Not closely related to the South American Anteater, the aardvark is a a medium-sized, burrowing, nocturnal mammal native to Africa and is considered to be a living fossil whose closest living relative is the Elephant Shrew. In African folklore, the aardvark is much admired because of its diligent quest for food and its fearless response to soldier ants. It can consume up to 50,000 in one night with its sticky tongue and burrow 2' in 15 seconds! wikipedia. Photo by Scotto Bear #Aardvark

The Penguin Jumper Project was started as the result of an oil spill in '00 off the southern tip of Australia threatening the lives of 'Fairy' Penguins, the smallest breed of penguins measuring 30cm tall. 15,000 tiny jumpers (sweaters) were donated from knitters around the world, improving survival to 98%. #Penguin #Sweater
