link is Collards but this is like From Joan Nathan "Jewish Cooking in America" Syrian Swiss Chard and Chick-peas 1 onion, chopped 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 cup chopped celery 1 cup water 1 bunch Swiss Chard chopped 1 10-oz can chick-peas, drained 1 teaspoon kosher salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper saute the onion in the oil until soft. Add the celery and continue to saute about 5 minutes. Add the water, swiss chard, chick-peas, salt and pepper and simmer low, covered for 30 minutes
