Note from Walter Pach to Maurice and Charles Prendergast found inside "History of Art: Ancient Art" Elie Faure, New York and London: Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1921 from the Prendergast Personal Library. Walter Pach (1883-1958) was an artist, critic, and lecturer who wrote about and championed the cause of modern art. He was also a close personal friend of Maurice and Charles Prendergast.
