You can order a box of books from this site for $12.99. They will range from toddler to young adult books. Each box contains approximately 150 books (give or take).
The students were split into three groups. I wrote 3 different word families on the wipe board. They had to think of a word for that word family, write it on the board and then pass the marker to the person next in line. They had two minutes and then we read the words and counted up their points. They got one point for each real word they made.
