Irena Sendler 1910-2008 A 98 year-old German woman named Irena Sendler recently died. During WWII, Irena worked in the Warsaw Ghetto as a plumbing/sewer specialist. She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers wanted nothing to do with the dog.

Dr. Michael Laurence Dillon was born in 1915 & was the first FTM transsexual to undergo a phalloplasty. Despite his female status, Michael felt male & wore men’s clothing. The surgeon performed a double mastectomy & gave him a Dr's note to allow him to change his birth certificate. The surgeon put him in touch with a doctor who was doing reconstructive penis surgery on soldiers.
