Got Pallets? Hate weeding? Dont feel like turning up a bunch of grass? Use a pallet as a garden bed - staple garden cloth on the backside of the pallet fill with dirt and start growing! You can also place your pallet on the ground in a rocky location rather than a grassy area, this way you will not need the garden cloth to stop the weeds and grass comin through! Tips and Tricks that make life easier
Freshen the air each time you go to the bathroom, with this handy trick. When you get out a new roll of toilet paper, place a few drops of your favorite essential oil in the cardboard tube of the toilet paper. This will release the scent of the oil each time the paper is used.
Easter Egg Vase. From Better Homes and Gardens: "Start with a large-mouth clear cookie jar or canister and place a clear drinking glass in the center. Gently stack dyed, hard-cooked eggs between the glass and jar, alternating egg colors. Fill the glass with water. Cut the stems of your favorite flowers (we used roses, gerbera daisies, tulips, hyacinth, and bells of Ireland) to the desired length, and arrange them in the glass." Could also do with plastic eggs.
Stairwells frequently have lots of waste space. Even with some furniture against the side, the underneath can be used for out of season storage...such as Christmas decorations, winter/summer wear. That way you move furniture just a few times a year (and can give the floor a good cleaning at that time, killing two birds with one stone, so to speak).
Replace the faux drawer in front of kitchen sink with a paper towel holder! Clever!
