Chateau Lagarde 2009 - Enjoyable to drink, this wine benefited greatly from decanting and was at its best over an hour later. Definitely a great entry level Bordeaux for people looking to experience it perhaps for the first time. RRP $29

Domaine du Crampilh Madiran Vignes Vielles 2009 - Made with 100% Tanat this wine has a deep, dark blood red colour. Easily the most drinkable 100% Tanat I can recall and I enjoyed every drop and I can report that it went amazingly well with a bit of aged cheddar. RRP $38.40
