Bravo Company's Cadet Basic Training First Sergeant recited the entire Soldier's Creed in the House of Tears gas chamber on July 30, 2013. He was the only cadet to successfully say the entire Soldier's Creed during Bravo Company's training.

New cadets of Bravo Company braved the House of Tears gas chamber on July 30, 2013. Through the coughing, a new cadet described the gas feeling like "swallowing a fireball, then lighting a firework inside." At the end of the exercise, Jozlyn McCaw '14, Bravo Company Commander, stated that all 127 new cadets of Bravo Company passed. She said, "The biggest thing is that, at the end of the day, they all march away with confidence in their equipment -- that's what really matters."

Class of 2017 R-Day video! On July 1, 2013, West Point's Class of 2017 had Reception Day, more commonly known as R-Day. More than 1,200 new cadets bid farewell to their family and friends and started summer training at the United States Military Academy.

Cadets in the Class of 2017 competed as squads in the Lambka Challenge on Friday, July 19, 2013. The Lambka Challenge is named after Lieutenant Todd Lambka, Class of 2010, who was killed in action in Afghanistan. Check out more photos in our myCapture album here: westpointaog.myca...
