Love upcycled old t-shirts! Made D some lounge pants from my old t-shirt (alma mater Washington State University. Go Cougs!). The pattern in the pin is for a 3T so I had to make it a little bigger to fit my 5.5yr old. They came out nice and were quick (completed during daughter's nap). Cheap too, had to buy elastic but had everything at the house.... Excited to use other t-shirts around the house.
Its Easy! a headband, fabric stiffener spray, and a lovely little piece of lace.
Cupcake costume. Upside down lamp shade and cotton batting.
Thrift-store sweater (or old one from the closet) laid wrong-side out on the table. Take a stocking (for a shape pattern), trace the shape and pin front and backs together (so the stocking won't move). Sew on the trace lines before cutting out. Once sewn and cut, turn right-side out. Voila! Cute stocking!
