Crock Pot Cheesy Hash Browns 5 c. frozen hash brown potatoes 2 c. cheddar cheese, grated 1 c. milk 1/2 c. half-and-half cream 1/2 c. green onion, thinly sliced 1 c. frozen peas 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper 1 tsp. ground paprika 1. Combine all ingredients in th crock pot, and mix thoroughly. 2. Cover. Cook on Low 6-8 hours or on High for 3-4 hours.
Crock Pot Apple Oatmeal 2 c. milk 2 T. honey 1 T. butter (no substitute!) 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. dry old-fashioned oats 1 c. apples 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (or nuts of your choice) 2 T. brown sugar 1. Mix together all ingredients in greased crock pot. 2. Cover. Cook on Low 5-6 hours. 3. Serve with milk, ice cream or whipped topping.
