Warm yourself from the inside out with this delicious soup recipe on Young and Raw.

Free of refined sugars, dairy, wheat or gluten and loaded with healthy fats, antioxidants and minerals. To make this recipe, simply mash your ripe avos together with all other ingredients until whipped together, or use a food processor! Date paste is easy to make: Soak your dates in water until soft, make sure the pits are removed. Blend the dates with a tiny bit of water to turn them into a paste, use this as your "raw" fruit based sweetener.

    I was out of avocados, so I substituted a small can of pumpkin purée. And I added three large tablespoons of coconut butter to add the fat the avocados would have provided. And I didn't have a full measurement of the maple syrup (used a bottle from a Cracker Barrel breakfast). I guess by now you see how much I wanted a decadent chocolate pudding dessert to go with my Wheat Belly lifestyle. My version has a nice mouth feel, as the avocados would give, but the chocolate is subtle. I think next, if I'm out of ingredients again, I will add more cocao. I don't know how much fiber is in avocados or in pumpkin, but I' guessing a lot more than the national pudding brand. I'm looking forward to the family trying it!
