arbor made from 2 old doors....and to think, I saw my neighbor toss an old door in the trash this week. I could have been one door closer to this project. But then, how long would it lay in the shed until my husband would get to it. Oh well, I can dream... Decor, Gardens Ideas, The Doors, Projects, Doors Arbors, Outdoor, Old Doors, Diy, Backyards

Photo identified as Cottage Garden 2, taken in April 2007. Love the stone path and casual placement of the colorful flowers. Baking soda neutralizes the ph in the soil and nothing will grow there. I use baking soda in a 6" wide area around all of the edges of my flower beds to keep the grass and weeds from growing into my beds. Just sprinkle it onto the soil so that it covers it lightly. I usually have to do this twice a year - spring and fall.
