"To heal a wound you need to stop touching it." Leave it alone, I get it but some wounds are open because they were never addressed corectly... like when a scar forms, there will always be a reminder of what happened and to teach what not to do again.
This is from the book The Last Battle. I saw it suggested as a wedding quote which I understand as it has such a sweet happily-ever-after message that goes along with weddings, but in its original context the quote was used to tell the reader the outcome for the characters after their death. I think I would like it used at my funeral--to celebrate the true happily ever after.

This is much of what I've been thinking about lately. Smacked me in the face a bit. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans
