Your tags were great - they had all the information you needed to keep your inventory accurate - item description, inventory number, price, and vendor number. Your writing was legible, but when you look at your printout, you can't figure out what sold.

Vintage Show Off: So many people are working to reduce clutter. What can booth vendors do to make sure they still have sales?

    Trend Watch: Reducing Clutter

Love the banner on these umbrellas. ALSO - lots of good outdoor booth photos on this post!

A Few Fun And Fabulous booth Presentations From the September 2011 TVM

Watch for inexpensive patio umbrellas at yard sales. Remove the old icky fabric and redo them. You don't have to do an expert seamstress job. I have seen some examples where they draped and/or stapled lace tablecloths over the top and it looked fabulous. If the fabric is in good shape, you might just add some interesting fringe or trim. They are great eye-catching additions to indoor or outdoor booths.

Glass top tables can often be found at garage sales for a song. They don't sell very well. People with children generally shy away from them, plus they usually look dated and not in a good way. HOWEVER, replacing the glass with wood like the example below is an easy update. Don't just think about this with coffee tables. Glass top patio tables are fabulous reworked like this!

There are lots of smalls in this booth, but they are displayed well. The overall feel of the booth is nice thanks to color grouping and the use of greenery. I love the addition of the swagged curtain. I don't see any one thing that would jump out at me as a shopper, but the display is so pleasing that I would definitely want to go in for a closer look. Getting a customer to walk into your booth is one of your first priorities, right? Photo source unknown.

How to DIY Plank Wall Photography Backdrops and Floors for taking beauty shots of your furniture pieces. Great for DIY Bloggers and those who sell refurbished furniture. This idea could also be used for outdoor markets OR as a divider in a brick and mortar shop.

Love the backdrop! It adds to the feel of this display. It would be so easy to put together. It brings a vintage, casual feel. The tan fabric looks a bit like drop cloth fabric. I love that it's frayed and slightly wrinkled. The wrought iron sofa shows well in front of it, don't you think? Note, too, that the vendor didn't even bother to find cushions for the back of the sofa. The sofa might have lost a bit of it's chippy charm if the back cushions were there.

The clothesline idea has so many possibilities! And remember - you aren't paying extra for vertical space, so you'd might as well use it!

Maison Douce: Monticello Garden Show - Not every old item needs to be cleaned up or painted or re-worked. Rusty, crusty vintage items are often worth more. If you display them really well, you can charge more than if you'd worked really hard re-doing it!

    Maison Douce: Monticello Garden Show

Looks like this booth focuses on jewelry sales. The vendor did a nice job of setting it up. I would definitely walk in for a closer look. The colors are pleasing and the backdrops add to the feel without being too distracting. The amount of jewelry is not overwhelming. There's plenty of room in front of the displays. It would be easy to put medium-sized item or two under the white table without distracting from the jewelry.

Pinned from - The more I look at this photo, the more interesting things I see. I few things jump right out and grab you, like the arbor. Some things, you'll only notice if you really take a closer look - like the metal walls. Be sure to click on the photo so you can see it full size.
