The horses of the Akhal-teke breed are famous for the golden shimmer of their coat. They are thoroughbreds (like English thoroughbreds and Arabians) and originate from Turkmenistan. The breed is thought to be over 2000 years old and is one of the very earliest horse breeds known.

Caetano is a very special young Lusitano stallion with lovely movement, extension, long neck and legs, short back and that long sought double dilute color (e/e, A/a, Cr/Cr). Caetano has very correct conformation with an exceptional front end. Out of 2 PSL, 16.1hh Brazilian parents, he will always throw a cream gene producing Palomino, Buckskin, smoky black, and cream foals when bred to bay, black or other dilute mares. Nordland Horse - The Nordlandshest/Lyngshest is a very old breed. They were used by the Vikings, were a main part of the breeding stock that made up the Icelandic horse, and still share many similarities. They may be a descendant of the Asiatic Wild Horse and the Tarpan, from which the Baltic pony or Konik, and the Shetland pony and Exmoor pony also derived. - Wikipedia

Meet Molly. She’s a grey speckled pony who was abandoned by her owners when Hurricane Katrina hit southern Louisiana . She spent weeks on her own before finally being rescued and taken to a farm where abandoned animals were stockpiled… while there, she was attacked by a pit bull terrier and almost died. Her gnawed right front leg became infected, and her vet went to LSU for help, but LSU was overwhelmed, and this pony was a welfare case. more - http://pandosyvet.com/2011/05/31/molly-the-inspi...

Tennessee Walking Horse

The Tennessee Walking Horse - Shoulder should be long & slope forward at an angle of 45 degrees from the withers to the point of the shoulder. The shoulder should be smooth, yet well muscled. The withers should be at least as high as the top of the rump. In addition to overall balance, slope of shoulder influences length of stride. Thus, the steeper the shoulder, the shorter the stride. Angle of shoulder and angle of pastern serve to absorb shock when the horse moves.
