Krishna Ann Booth - On the verandah at the Nindigully Pub.

Stephanie Muskens - My favourite place to read is on the bus, especially on my daily work commute to/from Fortitude Valley-Bardon. As it can sometimes be a lengthy trip depending on the traffic conditions, I get a lot of reading done! It's nice to read on the trip home too, a good de-stresser to finish off the workday.

G R ‏@GrRi2 - favourite reading spot

Jenny Cobbin ‏@jennycobbin - #612Bookfest The floor was the best spot to read some of the finds of last year.

Greg Manning- Favourite reading spot - I sit in buses and read street signs to choose my books. I wonder “Who or what was that?” and “Why do we have a place called that?” Having chosen my book and my bus route, I keep passing these signs to connect with where I’ve come from and to get a better idea of where I’m going and how I’m getting there.

ReneeM ‏@RenM79 - #612bookfest In the hammock on Moreton Island

Marika MacKenzie - my 2 year old son's favourite reading spot. He's an avid reader, just like his Mum, and he adores reading out loud to his teddies.

Sally Mills Murray - My favourite place to read a book is in my Daddy's lap!

Allison Silburn - We live in Brisbane but have a farm in Goomeri. Every time our family heads to the farm, my beautiful girls and I trek up (on top off a hill) to a glorious big tree, which has outspreading branches and big old roots. We then position ourselves either in the branches or the roots and read. It is the most peaceful place on earth, with no distractions, but to become engrossed in our books. It is not just about the book, but sharing this time with my daughters.

Cathy, Mount Gravatt East - My daughter, Leah, has loved to snuggle up on the couch with a book before she could even read.

Kirsten Tattle - This is the favourite spot for my son and I to read. Enough room to read a book each or read a book together.

Sarah Harvey - My favourite reading spot is in my back yard. I love to sit and watch the ducks go by when I pause from my book.

Clare ‏@claregarry6 - #612Bookfest My reading corner
