I have to admire the totally awesome feat of engineering that it must have been to build that last cable car. There is only one small car that holds about 20

Vorab Lift Station to the top of Vorab Glacier or Gletscher. I could not go up there because I did not have skis or a snowboard and I needed one or the other to get up and back down ©Gregory Goldston

On the first full day, we took the lifts and gondolas from Laax, up to the Restaurant and Picnic zone at Vorab.
