Wrist Love

At Apifera Farm, a non profit in Maine, we take in elder animals, and share them too with elder people. Opie the goat makes visits to elder homes. So I started the Old Kitty Knitty Club, where we sit and knit wrist warmers amongst the elder cats we adopt out of shelters, and then I will be sharing the wrist warmers with our elder friends at year's end as Opie and I make visits.

Wrist warmer crochet pattern that will fit average woman hands with change suggestions for men and child sizes. Will make a nice gift.

If you can do a gauge swatch, you can make these wristers! You just knit a square piece with a bit of ribbing then sew up the side leaving a hole for your thumb. I need to learn how to knit so that I can do this!

Thinking of upcycling old sweaters and use the sleeves for wrist warmers. Accent with embroidery around the hems and maybe a motif.
