The Kolumba museum in Köln, Germany is one of Zumthor’s most recent finished projects. It is buit over the ruins of a monastory complex. This project deals with ruins in a way that many would not dare to, he builds on top of and animates the ruins, to ensure their neccesity. Webb Bridge at The Blue Hour
Docklands, Melbourne, Victoria View On Black Last night I returned to Webb Bridge at just the right moment after sunset; the photographer's favourite "Blue Hour". But I had to be quick, as the best part of the Blue Hour only lasted about 15 mins before the clouds blew in. Between hoards of Christmas party revellers and cyclists, I snapped a few 10 second exposures. I'm very happy with the result. Merry Christmas to you all!
