This is what an ideal Women in Nazi Germany was supposed to be like. Hitler was very clear about the role he wanted women to have. his slogan for women was "children, church and cooking"
For the Nazi party, women were seen primarily as reproductive units to generate soldiers and Nazi party members for the Third Reich for a stronger Germany. Such ideas were not publicized, of course. Instead, Goebbels’ propaganda machine built up the idea image of German women slowly to achieve their objective. Goebbels and his administration (in line with Hitler’s views) portrayed a traditional image of women within the environment of the family, that they were the core of the German population. In the party’s view men, women and children all fulfilled an allotted role in the family. With this in mind, the Nazi propaganda machine printed out hundreds of thousands posters showcasing well-groomed blond children with their loving, blond Aryan parents. To increase Germany’s birthrate (which had been steadily declining in the 1930s while the French’s was growing) the government of Nazi Germany discouraged equal opportunities that could lead women away from the path of motherhood. That of course was just one step in the government’s plan, because shortly after German women were then denied access to medically supervised abortions (though some still found a way, of course) and contraception. During all of this, homosexuality and prostitution were repressed and crimes that were punishable by strict law. To off set the seemingly bleak world that German women were living in, the Nazi government offered a series of incentives to those who were having large families: marriage loans, child allowances and generous family subsidies. Of course, not everyone qualified for such incentives. Loans were granted only to women who were “genetically healthy,” and those who didn’t meet that criteria were not only refused, but if they had (or were thought to have) hereditary diseases, they were compulsorily sterilized in accordance with German law that passed in July 1933.

Jim Henson. After graduating from high school, Henson enrolled at the University of Maryland as a studio arts major, thinking he might become a commercial artist. A puppetry class offered in the applied arts department introduced him to the craft and textiles courses in the College of Home Economics, and he graduated in 1960 with a B.S. in home economics.
