#41 I really like this tutorial. I want this kind of flat stone edge, without the stones standing up, right in front of my fence clear around. This just makes it all cleaner looking I think and keeps the dog from peeing on the fence! 8 House plants that are easy to keep alive

Homemade Weed Killer 1 gallon of white vinegar, 1/2 cup salt, Liquid dish soap (any brand), Empty spray bottle. Put salt in the empty spray bottle and fill it the rest of the way up with white vinegar. Add a squirt of liquid dish soap. This solution works best if you use it on a hot day. Spray it on the weeds in the morning, and as it heats up it will do its work. - Casual Crafter

A Pinner says: this is the BEST Weed Spray. I made 3 gallons for around $4.00 last year after seeing a pin. Worked better than Round Up & killed the weeds/stray grass on first application. One gallon of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, 1/2 c table salt, 1 tsp Dawn. Mix and pour into a smaller spray bottle.

Stacked-Pots Planter

Worm Tower - Drill lots of holes in a pvc pipe. Bury all but 6 inches in garden. Place kitchen scraps in the hole. Worms will come in and eat and then transfer the "goodies" throughout the garden.

Angelonia -It's easy to grow and flowers profusely, great plant for our dry spells and heat. Not fussy about soil either. Butterflies love it!

Penny Ball for the garden. Pennies in the garden repel slugs and make hydrangeas blue. I love this idea. It looks old and new and beautiful. I need this to keep the slugs off my strawberries!
