Mindy Kaling - Why Not Me
Me Before You: A Novel by Jojo Moyes -- one of the most heart-breaking, compelling, and thought-provoking books I've read in a long time. Very well-written and hard to put down. Caveat: This book is not written from a Christian perspective, has quite a bit of language, and the plot line deals with suicide in a very raw form. I didn't agree with the outcome of the book, but it made me dig deep and think hard... and books that do that are ones I feel are very worth my time.

These Things Hidden One of my favorite books! I seriously reccomend this book to EVERYONE! It's an amazing book and I love it!
These Things Hidden by Heather Gudenkauf- good book makes you think about the the title "mother"
These Things Hidden by Heather Gudenkauf. This book needs an editor! So many mistakes! It has some interesting elements but it felt rushed, like the author was more concerned about getting to the big reveal at the end of the plot than exploring the characters. Frequent switches of perspective and short chapters made it a quick easy read. Book club book...only reason I stuck it out and finished it.

Jodi and Todd are at a bad place in their marriage. He is a committed cheater. She lives and breathes denial. He exists in dual worlds. She likes to settle scores. He decides to play for keeps. She has nothing left to lose. Told in alternating voices, The Silent Wife is about a marriage in the throes of dissolution, a couple headed for catastrophe, concessions that can’t be made, and promises that won’t be kept. Expertly plotted and reminiscent of Gone Girl and These Things Hidden, The Silent Wife ensnares the reader from page one and does not let go.
Not as good as Gone Girl, but still worth reading!
