Mick Jones THE artist behind the Fitzrovia Mural, the subversive public artwork off Tottenham Court Road that was painted in the 1980s, has died. The Hackney Peace mural 1985 by Mick Jones and Ray Walker has been recently restored and is one of the capital’s best murals. This is my first memory of street art, travelling through Hackney in the back of my dad's car on our way home to Camden. Loved it then and still love it now!
