Medway Council have commissioned Future Creative to deliver cookery workshops throughout Medway as part of a three year project entitled Cyber Youth Connections. CYC is a cross-border project where young people aged eight to 19 can gain skills and experience in music, cookery, motorbike mechanics. During the project young people will learn about French language and culture, whilst taking part in fun skills based workshops.
The Mayor of Bury St. Edmunds was at the grand opening of Team Penguin's Social Action Project which they are doing for #NCS. They renovated the courtyard and Tayfen House's homeless shelter. Well Done to one of our #NCS from #Suffolk, who had an open evening for their social action project. Haverhill Mayor Roger Andre who was at the event said: "To those of you who write off young citizens I say look around you, this is a real contribution of our young adults. To you, the young people who represent the future of our community, I say be proud of your achievements."
