I survived. Levine's "Healing Trauma" helped me...I bought the 6 cd set, it's Peter Levine talking you through the steps of healing' He talks about the natural responses of "Fight or Flight" but there is a third "Frozen" frozen at the time of your trauma.

I think that the ocean is the most wonderful yet horrifying thing ever. I have a huge fear of water, but I respect its power. I have honestly had a meltdown more than once just thinking about the ocean and water.
