Here we have David Whyte giving a brief introduction to his poem "The Journey" and then reciting it in his inimitable style.  I personally find the way he recites with internal repetitions of the lines very engaging...the repetitions provide emphasis that, for me, draw me deeper into the poem.  Some participants in programs that I've facilitated offer that his method builds emotional connection in them, and allows them to "sink into the poem."  See what you think!
