The 7th-8th graders decided splatter-paint their lion. We put it on a plastic drop cloth, which they held up to keep their pants and shoes paint-free. The acrylic paint was thinned with a little water to make it more "fling-able." This turned out to be surprisingly not messy.
Phase 4 of 700... Note the fan to keep the room ventilated. The Liquid Nails had a STRONG odor. This Lion Statue Water Fountain was well worth the time. It raised over $700 for our school at the School Auction, if remember correctly...blame the memory loss on the fumes!
