Teach Greek & Latin roots, prefixes, and suffixes with this resource! Includes a complete word wall, word building cards, and word of the day activity.

Understanding the prefixes, suffixes, and Greek and Latin roots that make up our language is essential for building vocabulary. This resource will help students learn to recognize those word parts and their meanings.

This board helps my students remember some of the word parts we have highlighted throughout the year. Greek and Latin word parts are the toughest (we put those in the root section), but once they master them, they can continuously add examples (leaves) throughout the year seeing their vocabulary and the tree get thicker and thicker!

Erin: This bulletin board can be developed throughout the year to help students learn vocabulary. Once the students become familiar with learned prefixes, roots, and suffixes, they can continuously add more examples (leaves) throughout the year!
