Handmade, one-of-kind purse using a recycled hardcover book, what a SMart idea! These wonderful little Book Purses are what I like to call “Light Book Purses” because they are made from the book covers of vintage Reader Digest Condensed Book volumes! The Reader’s Digest Condensed Books were a series of hardcover anthology collections, published by Reader’s Digest and distributed by direct mail. Amazingly they were produced for over 47 years. With their interesting designed cover (they didn’t have dust jackets) and their smaller size, they make the most adorable Book Purses.
