A pearl does not begin as a grain of sand!

The only two living gems are pearls and coral. Nucleated Japanese Fresh Water pearls do not kill the molluks at production time, but are re-nucleated and cared for specially. One-of-a-kind creations over 3.5 decades

This is original two decade 5mm black BIWAs between new BIWA Keshi reborn pearls, known as twins. The pearl producing mollusks are nucleated with one piece of the mollusk's own tissue sewn while anestized under the mollusk lip and it is gently lowered to the floor of Lake Biwako in steel cages. Upon several years at harvest when a twin or extra pearl is discovered it is known as a Keshi reborn or gift. The twins are 16mmx8mm for the original lead singer of the Surfer Girls of Beach Boy fame.

BIWA wings in bright colours from peacock black, bronze, golds, to this nearly hot pink ice have really begun to hit the market, 5,6 and 8 strands kissing, from matinee to opera length make a new statement for au courant fashionable dress... we have quite a collection of these, but have not yet found the right design, matinee may be best with gold spacers to offset the wings...

Sadly, I can string pearls or know the camera lens well, but to photograph is not my forte, these pearls have a high Orient, or luster and overtone of slight silver over white; the petit black BIWAs are glossy, the piece is for a petit friend.

Yep, love my kids which love pearls and won't let me often remove them. The white sand, not snow, ranch, I do get snow at 3,800' an hour from Beve Hills, love the Christmas tree, the Teal automatic is practical, the boi in me is my stick shift Jag... jazzed about life.

A piece in progress, 17mm mauve Keshi reborn, large pearls will be interlaced with 8mm white fresh water and clasped so it may become a signature piece for dialy use from jeans to whatever. To formalize, 4 strands of 8mm whites are wrapped around to twist into a pearl crush as seen, the mauve pops when in person.
