This cross was given to each employee of St Johns Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo. The marble was imported from Italy by Sr Catherine McAuley. It was placed in the original St Johns Hospital, then was moved 43 years ago to the hospital structure that was hit by the May 22, 2011 tornado. Now is cherished by me and the other employees that are so proud to be Mercy.
