when my mom used to make her version of this great cake, she used 2 pie pans & one bunt pan for the middle part of the cake....leave it to say there was TONS of icing/filler though gotta say adding cheese cake ... hmmm *licks lips*
Fine Cooking's German Chocolate Cake... made this for Bill's birthday. Makes great cupcakes! Be careful to only fill the cups between 1/2 and 2/3 full... they don't puff up, so they'll have wide caps if you overfill.
