@ all my social studies friends! This infographic highlights the 3 main branches of the U.S. Government in a simple, easy-to-read format. For my civics guys at school...
Terrific infographic on our government - who takes care of what? Because most kids have no idea.
Using Infographics to Teach Informational Text - 3 branches of government?
This is a great tool for students to use to better understand our government on a basic level. Educating students about politics at a young age is essential to them becoming more involved in their communities - Luke Knoble #ECE #Social Studies

Play this every Christmas, but using gloves, makes it way funnier. Have everyone who is playing get in a big circle, one player gets the tape ball and the player in front of them a pair of dice. The player with the ball removes tape as fast as they can and anything they dislodge is theirs to keep. The player with the dice is trying to roll doubles as quickly as they can so they get a turn. As soon as they get doubles they pass the dice to the person next to them and then they get the tape ball.

felt anatomy art, by Dan Beckemeyer
An interesting textile bit of fiber art.
More fantastic medical arts integration!
Felted Anatomy Designer and illustrator Dan Beckemeyer created this wonderful exploration of anatomy by first illustrating a skeletal structure, then stitching a cardiovascular system, and finally adding hand-felted muscle mass. Beautiful work.
Fabric or Textile arts are often misunderstood or they attribute it to fashion. This artist Dan Beckemeyer created this fascinating artwork... "Beckemeyer uses hand-made abaca paper to combine a highly detailed illustration of the human skeletal system with a stitched cardiovascular system and hand-felted muscle mass." http://goo.gl/KWqXG8 #art #fineart #artist #fiberart
