Eat your fruit! This is one of those lifestyle changes that I made. On any given day I consume 6 to 10 pieces of fruit. There are some that will eat 30 bananas a day. That may not be for me right now. In fact I haven't ever thought that was "healthy". To me a moderation of food intake is the best policy.

I could hang this up or hand out to the children in my classroom, this is a clear way to introduce them to all different kinds of fruit and how much a serving size is for each fruit. Stuffed avocado salad #recipe ~ In a small bowl, whisk together 1 tsp olive oil, juice from 1/2 lime, 1 small garlic clove minced, a pinch cayenne, & salt to taste. Scoop out meat from avocado halves & chop. Transfer to bowl & add 1/2 chopped yellow bell pepper, 6 cherry tomatoes halved, 1 thinly sliced scallion, & 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro. Drizzle with dressing & stir gently to combine. Spoon back into avocado shells, garnish with cilantro leaves.

Marinade: 1 part Balsamic Vinegar 1 part Whiskey Fill a 1 - 1/2 oz shot glass with 1 part vinegar to 1 part whiskey. This will be enough marinade for two steaks (He placed his wedding band next to glass so you can get a better idea the size of the glass). Enough for 2 steaks.....
