TECHknitting: Zipper in knitwear, the no-sewing way

Instructions:Cast on 69 stitches. Work the first few rows in garter stitch (I did 2 ridges). Next row (WS): K3, p to last 3 sts, k3. Next row (RS): begin pattern, always working first and last 3 sts in garter st. Gull Wings pattern (multiple of 7, hence 9 repeats per row = 63 sts): Row 1 (RS) -- K1, k2 tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, k1. Row 3 -- K2 tog, yo, k3, yo, ssk. All WS rows -- P across 63 pattern sts. Work garter st at cast-off end to match beginning.
