Toni Morrison may be rightly described as 1 of the greatest literary geniuses of the modern era. She may also be described as 1 of the greatest of any era. Major literary prizes like the Pulitzer, the Nobel Prize for Literature, American Book Award, & France’s Commander of the Arts & Letters have assured her place in world literary history. So has receiving the U.S.’s Presidential Medal of Freedom. Her writings have helped redefine studies & dialogues on the African-American experience.
