Love this idea for multiple reasons : 1. Equisetum grows so quickly and make even the newest newbie of a gardener feel accomplished and happy, 2. Equisetum can get out of control and this container will prevent that from happening. I am going to plant some Equisetum in pots this summer to create privacy and cover up some unsightly areas of my yard.

Got Pallets? Hate weeding? Dont feel like turning up a bunch of grass? Use a pallet as a garden bed - staple garden cloth on the backside of the pallet fill with dirt and start growing! You can also place your pallet on the ground in a rocky location rather than a grassy area, this way you will not need the garden cloth to stop the weeds and grass comin through! Spray the plant with Epsom salts (1 teaspoon dissolved in a spray bottle of warm water (about 4 cups). That gives the pepper plant a boost of magnesium that is required at flowering time to produce fruit. Spray them again 10 days later and in a few weeks, our expert friends report, you will have more peppers than you can eat.
