Drying Apple Gourds. I love it! I got started last year and I am hooked. Beautiful to display during all seasons especially fall. They can be painted, dyed, cut in half and cleaned to be made into a bowl, birdhouse etc... 1) buy a healthy apple gourd in the fall. 2) place it in a paper bag or card pard box out of sight for six months in a dry area. 3) leave it alone. It will mold it will look disgusting. It's natural. 4) in 6 months remove from bag/box and scrape dried mold off with a…
