When designing the Amojis 5 years ago, we had a goal - to celebrate black natural hair. For context, Nigeria's natural hair movement wasn’t as widespread as it is now. We felt it was important to create the Amojis because we understood that celebrating & showing gratitude for an energy inspires more of it. They’ve found their place as affirmations on shirts, physical stickers on devices, digital stickers on major chat apps & wallpapers on people’s phones.
Meet Mr. Tootie, one of the mascots we created for @reelfruit's new children's product called Frootie Tooties. The goal was to create a product that appealed to kids. Making use of flat illustrations, textures, and shadows, we created a cardboard-like illustration that's reminiscent of a classroom cardboard project. This forms a great allusion to the classroom, to learning and to childhood. 🥭

We believe happiness can be designed into everything, so we’ll be demonstrating this by applying it to one thing that matters to us all - our lives. For us to show others how to apply it, we’ll be using a pretty popular design process known as the design thinking process. This is a process for creative problem-solving.
