Vintage inspired, hand embroidery baby set, 0-3 months.

Vintage inspired, hand embroidery baby set, 0-3 months.

It was very hard to paint Colombus after read all the spanish cronicles I could. I made this painting to participate in an art competition for the festivities of Nov 19th, 2014 in my town of Aguada, Puerto Rico. The theme was to represent elements that describes the "discovery" of PR.  I painted Colombus representing what he brought to Caribbean and the Americas: slavery, theft and the genocide of a culture.
