Ammonite pavement in Lyme Regis, Dorset, Great Britain - a World Heritage Site. We went fossil hunting at Lyme Regis as kids! I took my husband a few years ago and we only found one fossil! I don't think he believed we used to find loads.
A tiny woman and two children were laid to rest on a bed of flowers years ago in what is now the barren Sahara Desert. Their skeletons were found 5000 years later with the arms of the children still extended to the woman in an embrace.
