6/6 In Finland, you can build a tiny home under 130 square feet without a permit. This micro cabin was built by designer Robin Falck. It stands with a total space of 96 square feet, with a 50 square foot loft, and a large window overlooking a gorgeous lake. It took two weeks to build with £10,500 in materials. It was named Nido, meaning “nest” in Italian.
Micro Cabin in Finland \\\ A DIY project with a tight budget and using mostly recycled materials, this tiny cabin was designed for use after serving in the military and the owner/designer managed to stick to Finland’s strict codes for small houses and cabins. A brilliant use of 146-square-feet of space, don’t you think?
. Micro Cabin in Finland This small cabin in the woods of Finland overlooking a lake is exactly what the man who designed and built it was looking for – 146-square feet of space made from mostly recycled materials and a tight budget.
Nido-Micro-Cabin-Finland. Talk about affordable and definitely a cool design to squeeze everything in. I wonder if I could live in such a small space.
Incredible.... Would be amazing to just lay there with someone you love and just enjoy the nature and the company.... The Interlace | OMA | Modern apartment complex utilizes passive solar techniques and rooftop gardens for sustainability
Designed by ole scheeren, partner of OMA, the interlace adopts a new residential typology which breaks away from the standard isolated, vertical apartment towers of singapore. Thirty-one apartment blocks, each standing at six-storeys tall and identical in length, are stacked in a hexagonal arrangement to form eight large open and permeable courtyards. The stacked formations allow light and air to flow through the architecture and surrounding landscape.
OMA unveils design for The Interlace residential complex in Singapore. Ole Scheeren of OMA introduces a new residential typology to Singapore with The Interlace, a large-scale complex of interconnected apartment buildings stacked in an innovative hexagonal arrangement, developed by CapitaLand and Hotel Properties Limited. With about 170,000m2 of gross floor area, the development will provide 1,040 apartment units of varying sizes with extensive outdoor spaces and landscaping.

10 Modern Architectural Design Ideas
What I understand about architecture is …………………….. It is a styles and exploration of regional development of art towards anything. Architecture not only exist in form of a buildings. We also can find architecture in animals habitats, animals appearance ,characteristics of plants , foods(composition for example) , attire (eg:fashion) and anything . this is a rare exotic animal i found that these exotic plants unique , then here's architecture too and this is architecture in fashion Anything unique or attractive I found surrounds us, that is what I call it architecture .Architecture never buried . Human being keep exploring a new architecture styles throughout history, from the first civilizations to today. We experienced it without we noticed that architecture is moving along with the time. architecture during the late 13th century (byzantine architecture) nowadays architecture (modern architecture) this is one example of a new innovation , see my explaination below Architecture can generate ideas towards an exploration of a new innovation. The successful elements put on architecture also can attract people towards the subject of uniqueness . (for example : pond in front of building [water elements plays the role of welcoming]) (next example: the opening like windows or doors are minimised at the east and west side to avoid warm from sun). Hence, every architecture showed/formed has a functional matters behind it. When looking forward in scope of design, what I understand about a successful design is… every its form , position ,has its own function . When function towards a design is considerate, that’s a successful design. That's some words from me about my understanding towards A.R.C.H.I.T.E.C.T.U.R.E. ......................... i fall in love with architecture since i was 6. heee :p Telling you guys, why i choose and be here in architecture field,of course i'm gonna say my favorite to blend with architecture in my life . Seems architecture has many branch, i more attracts to buildings art, like designing building . Everywhere I go, my eyes will give attention to surrounding buildings while thinking about its function. When my mind catch an attraction towards unique design , i'll stop by to take a snap and sometime i learn from the picture. I love to zoom in about its unique elements and function .I found that, I enjoy doing this , seems my dad also do the same ."like dad, ,like daughter" haha . Then , I would like to say I am optimistic to be a professional architect in the future ..... ameen . hehe by me, [ NUR SHAHIDAH BT MOHD SAKRI] =)

hell yeah Muqarnas! One of my favorite architectural details. These are in the Imam Mosque in Isfahan, Iran.
The Imam Mosque in Isfahan, Iran featuring an architectural detail known as Muqarnas. Muqarnas is one of the most characteristic features of Islamic architecture and is used throughout most of the Muslim world (in North Africa a related system known as muqarbaras is also used). Muqarnas is usually associated with domes, doorways and niches, although it is often applied to other architectural features and is sometimes used as an ornamental band on a flat surface

It was built by the architect Léon Delune in 1904. He left his 'signature' on the house in a very unique way - his last name means 'of the moon,' in French, and he worked images of the different phases of the moon into the design. The big window at the top was originally designed so that there would be enough natural light for a painter's studio at the top of the building. It's located in Brussels, 6 Rue du Lac.
