My CCSS aligned bulletin board for a middle school social studies class. Will add each goal/question/concept to the spaces as we progress through them! #education #commoncore

The displays are made with file folders in the first few days of school. Students complete an "about me" sheet that is attached to the first part of the file folder. The entire file folder is then laminated. A gallon sized storage bag is added to the bottom part of the file folder for students' work to be displayed.

"Walmart sells flat twin bed sheets in individual packages (meaning without pillowcases and fitted sheets) for a whopping $2.00. There is more than enough fabric to cover the typical bulletin board and they have a surprising assortment of colors. I actually like using the black sheets as a background. It allows the kiddo's work, borders and lettering to really POP! "
