chili-lime roasted chickpeas
Recipe, Roasted Chickpeas, Healthy Snacks, Chililime, Chili Lime Roasted, Chickpeas Sound, Salty Snack, Bird Baking
roasted chickpeas. I did modify the recipe by putting them back in the oven for about 8 minutes after putting the oil/spice mixture on them. This helped to dry the seasoning on them so they weren't so "wet". Overall, I was very pleased with them especially since they are a healthy snack!
Chili Lime Roasted Chickpeas (They don't have to know how healthy it is...ssshhhhh!) Very good.Watch closely so that they do not overcook

Healthy sandwich: tomatoes, mozzarella, asparagus, balsamic, basil
Salad stack Just stack vine ripe tomatoes mozzarella, asparagus, grilled red onions, fresh basil and blue cheese crumbles – then drizzle with some balsamic vinaigrette. Balsamic Vinaigrette 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 2 teaspoons dark brown sugar 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 3/4 cup olive oil Beat the vinegar in a bowl with Dijon, sugar, garlic, salt and pepper until sugar and salt dissolves. Then beat in the oil by droplets, whisking constantly. (Or place all the ingredients in a screw-top jar and shake or in a food processor and add the oil in a small steady stream.) Taste and adjust the seasonings. If not using dressing right away, cover and refrigerate, whisking or shaking again before use. This is served at SEASON’S 52 in Orlando Florida and is one of those recipes you can recreate at home – so easy, so mouth-watering, and so good for you! Now if we could just find juicy, vine-ripened tomatoes year around!

Everyday Food, September 2010 http://www.marthastewart.com/330179/bacon-egg-and-toast-cups 3.73494 Rated(86)86 Prep Time 15 minutes Total Time 35 minutes Yield Makes 6 Ingredients 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 8 slices white or whole-wheat sandwich bread 6 slices bacon 6 large eggs Coarse salt and ground pepper Directions Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly butter 6 standard muffin cups. With a rolling pin, flatten bread slices slightly and, with a 4 1/4-inch cookie cutter, cut into 8 rounds. Cut each round in half, then press 2 halves into each muffin cup, overlapping slightly and making sure bread comes up to edge of cup. Use extra bread to patch any gaps. Brush bread with remaining butter. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium, until almost crisp, 4 minutes, flipping once. (It will continue to cook in the oven.) Lay 1 bacon slice in each bread cup and crack an egg over each. Season with salt and pepper. Bake until egg whites are just set, 20 to 25 minutes. Run a small knife around cups to loosen toasts. Serve immediately. Bacon, Egg, and Toast Cups in our Mothers Day Brunch Recipes gallery These egg cups are a fun twist on a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. The recipe is versatile: Use crumbled sausage or spinach instead of bacon, and top with a sprinkle of Parmesan or Moms favorite cheese.
