Andes Mint Cookies Recipe: Yum-o! Used Triple Chocolate cake mix instead of Devil's Food & rolled dough into balls for more uniform cookies; also only used 1/2 mint on each cookie. Tasted like Thin Mints!
This is the BEST icing for sugar cookies. It hardens nicely so you can stack cookies but doesnt get hard like a rock, so you wont hurt your teeth. Its very tasty too and you can add different extracts to change the flavors.
Meltaway Cookies. 1 C. butter ¾ C. cornstarch ¾ C. powdered sugar 1 C. flour 1 recipe Cream Cheese Frosting (see below) In a medium bowl, cream butter until fluffy. Add cornstarch & sugar and blend well. Beat in flour until thoroughly mixed. Drop by small teaspoons onto baking sheet & flatten out with the bottom of a glass.
Cake Mix Cut-Out Cookies - 1 Box Cake Mix, 2 Eggs, 1 Stick Softened Butter, 1 t vanilla. Mix ingredients well. Chill dough for 2 hours. Roll out on floured surface and cut with cookie cutters. Decorate as desired. Bake at 350 for 12-15 min. on a greased/lined cookie sheet.
