The script to the left of the image reads ‘Gustave Hotz, 44 Chaussée de Vleurgat, Ixelles-Bruxelles.’ There are quite a few references on the web to this particular photographer, whose work is sometimes billed as ‘Photographie Artistique’.

I think they're twins, but this photo reminds me of the photo of the girl on the floor. Smiling faces....a bit surreal for a funeral.
Postmortem Photograph of a baby. So Sad. Victorians' obbession with death was very creepy and interesting. Their way of mourning and rememberence is much different than ours today.
