Jim Carrey's a funny guy, and this just might be the funniest movie he's made yet!

"Horton Hears a Who" - Another movie I found visually stunning. Everything just looked so SHARP and detailed...

Sweeney Todd - I love the satire at work in this musical, and it's another with great visual style

Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" - another movie I enjoy more for the visuals than the story-telling

While admittedly not my favorite story-wise (and there's certainly nothing I find particularly WRONG with the story, it's just never really blown me away with its brilliance) I love the look of this movie. Whenever I think of what I want my own animation to look like, this movie imediately pops into my head. (I think perhaps it's all the sub-surface scattering...)

Admittedly, I don't actually watch Star Wars all that often, but I still consider it a spectacular series

One of the few "thrillers" I'd ever put on a "my favorite movies" list

While Avatar certainly had its flaws, you can't deny it was GORGEOUS... And I still can't get over the genius of the little helicopter-like flying lizards - so creative!

Lotte Reiniger - early cut-paper animation - possibly the first feature-length animation ever. (Earlier even than Snow White)

The entire Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy was fun with some great moments of special effects, and though #4 was a bit contrived, it was still fun.

The New World was gorgeous, but super slow. It's beauty overrules the pacing for me, keeping it one of my favorites even though I don't watch it often.
