Crayon hot rocks: If you have not done this yet, you need to. Simply warm up the rocks in the oven (I did 220 for 10 minutes), then put them on a stack of newspapers (or something else you don't care if it gets crayon in it) and let the little ones go to town. Just remind them it is hot.

How to Make a Tutu... One day I'll be happy I pinned this!

The Savior tells us we need to become as little children to inherit the kingdom of God. I’ve often wondered what it is about little children Jesus loves most, and I think its their innocence. They are clean slates, seeing the world and others through untarnished eyes. Their hearts are pure, without the baggage of cynicism and self-doubt. I’ve tried to imagine how a child would act upon meeting the Master for the first time.

Hair Today: This is what it's all about

All you need is an empty Kleenex box. Oh, and cash. Dollar bills. Tape the dollar bills together end to end with Scotch tape. Obviously the more dollar bills the greater the “WOW.” Stuff them in the Kleenex box with just one dollar sticking out of the box. It’s fun to watch someone’s eyes grow wider as they pull out the dollars that go on and on. Make a tag that says: Don’t blow it all in one place. Happy Birthday.

Original Pinner: I have to say, in all false humility, I have put a fab new spin on a pinata. Single balloons filled with confetti and a few toys and candies. Each child chose one to pop with a pin. Each time was a surprise, and we avoided the crotch-seeking sticks and the cranium-crushing, dog-piles of children diving in at once to retrieve prizes. The balloons didn't always pop on the first try, so when one eventually did, it was followed by squeals of surprise and a shower of confetti.
