Difficulty: Easy

2 Ways to paint:
• On an iPad - I used ProCreate (but you can use Photoshop, Sketch or any other drawing app)
• On paper - use any watercolors you prefer or gouache
• Color palette used: white, black, yellow ochre, burnt umber.

The secret with earth tones is to limit the palette to 3-4 colors and trust that by mixing them in various proportions, you’ll obtain infinite and subtle nuances. You’ll discover how soothing and calming the effect of earth tones can be.
• TIP: For an extra kick, after finishing the painting, add a bolder color (like red, yellow etc), in tiiiny small amounts, in different spots. It will be the “salt & pepper” of the artwork. To tame the fiery color, I mix it with a very small amount of one of the earth tones, just to bring it down a notch
